Our Wedding

He Said Go Blue, She Said I Do! 

Thanks to my dad's love for the military, he unknowingly introduced his daughter to her future husband at the neighborhood gym. 	During Christmas break in 2021, my dad and I went for a quick workout at our neighborhood gym. Just as we were about to leave, Nick and Ben walked in, dressed head-to-toe in Air Force soccer gear. As you all know, my dad couldn't resist introducing himself to the two young officers to hear their stories. For those of you who don't know him, this is no shocker—my dad's two favorite things are the military and Notre Dame football. As I walked over with him, I ended up in conversation with Nick. Right before we left, Nick yelled "Go Blue" and wished me good luck on the upcoming season. We spent the rest of Christmas break together before going our separate ways. 	That winter, we started dating long-distance, spending 2 1/2 years apart until the summer of 2024, when I moved to Boston. Nick popped the question on May 3rd, 2024, and we have been loving exploring the New England area and doing this thing called life together!

Our Story

We are so grateful that you are joining us for our wedding weekend! With many out-of-town friends and family we wanted to make sure our travel plans were as accommodating as possible. We have partnered with sister hotels - Homewood Suites by Hilton Dallas The Colony and Hampton Inn &amp; Suites Dallas The Colony to offer a variety of rooms and amenities at both properties! These sister hotels are located next to each other, share a range of convenient services, and are walking distance from many shops and restaurants, including the Welcome Party Venue. To ensure you get a room at the special rate, we recommend booking early to secure your spot and take advantage of the discounted rates. Rooms are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

We understand that some guests might appreciate a little extra space and convenience during their stay, so we’ve arranged these rooms to have a full kitchen! These rooms would be a great option for our guests who plan to stay the entirety of the weekend, including the Dallas State Fair trip on Sunday (10/12). AIRPORT INFORMATION: There are two large airports, both located roughly 20 minutes from the hotels. Most carriers will fly directly in and out of DFW Airport, while Dallas - Love Field Airport services Southwest flights.

It’s a coincidence - but our wedding weekend is the same weekend as the Texas State Fair! As Monday is a federal holiday, we have planned a trip down to the State Fair grounds on Sunday! If you are able to join us, we will be having a shuttle service from the hotel to take our guests to and from the fairgrounds.

Both hotels are walking distance from Grandscape, with lots of fun restaurants, shops, and things to do, it makes a great spot to visit with some down time in between wedding festivities!

For any major sports fanatics, check out the Dallas Cowboys practice facility in Frisco. No more than 15 min away from the hotels and surrounded by some awesome restaurants and shops!

If you want a taste of Texas, check out the historic western culture at the Fort Worth StockYards. Western shops, local southern restaurants, and the daily famous cattle drive that happens on East Exchange Avenue.
