We first met in our weightlifting class in high school in our sophomore and freshman years. After a few attempts to spark something...we won't say how many...I (Abby) finally gave Nick a chance. On April 24th, 2021, which just so happened to be Nick's 18th birthday, we went on our first date. To say that we fell for each other fast is an understatement! We give all glory and honor to the Lord because He truly orchestrated the most perfect timing of our relationship.

It was a bit intimidating to begin dating when Nick was about to graduate high school because, at the time, we thought that the first several years of our relationship would be long distance. However, through the Lord's kindness and provision, I (Abby) fell in love with Taylor University where Nick was already attending. We count ourselves so incredibly blessed to have been able to experience our college years in the same wonderful place!

It has been four (or five, depending on when you're reading this!) years of growing up together, and we are both looking forward to many, many more.
