Our Wedding

We first met in our weightlifting class in high school in our sophomore and freshman years. After a few attempts to spark something...we won't say how many...I (Abby) finally gave Nick a chance. On April 24th, 2021, which just so happened to be Nick's 18th birthday, we went on our first date. To say that we fell for each other fast is an understatement! We give all glory and honor to the Lord because He truly orchestrated the most perfect timing of our relationship. It was a bit intimidating to begin dating when Nick was about to graduate high school because, at the time, we thought that the first several years of our relationship would be long distance. However, through the Lord's kindness and provision, I (Abby) fell in love with Taylor University where Nick was already attending. We count ourselves so incredibly blessed to have been able to experience our college years in the same wonderful place! It has been four (or five, depending on when you're reading this!) years of growing up together, and we are both looking forward to many, many more.

Hi sweet people! I’m Liv. Abby was my college roommate at Taylor University, and very quickly became my soul friend. We were basically inseparable from day one. Abby is kind, thoughtful, and the kind of friend who truly sees you; and somehow also happens to be the funniest person I know.
Watching Abby and Nick continually fall in love, day after day, has been such a joy. Their relationship has been prayed over, guided by faith, and very clearly has the hand of God all over it - which makes today feel extra special. And now, here we are, about to make this covenant official! I love them both so much, and I promise to cheer them on, support them, and probably laugh with them for the rest of their lives. Cheers to Nick and Abby!

My name is Megan, and I've gotten the privilege of being Abby's close friend through so many seasons of life. Our families met at Avon UMC when we were in preschool, and she has been like a sister to me ever since. From birthdays, to sleepovers, to family vacations, I'm so grateful for the endless memories. I remember when Abby and Nick started talking on spring break Junior year of high school. Now, she is his bride! I'm thankful to witness both Abby and Nick grow into such wise and faith-filled disciples together.

Hi!! I’m Emma and I’ve known Abby since elementary school, but we became close friends in middle school! Throughout our middle and high school years (and even through the distance in college), Abby has been such a sweet and supportive friend I can always count on for anything. From endless coffee dates to spontaneous shopping trips and the little texts in between, this beautiful friendship has been such a blessing in my life. I remember when Abby and Nick met in high school and I couldn’t think of a greater guy to support and love Abby just as she has loved all her dear friends! I’m so excited to be a part of this next chapter with them!

What’s up everyone…Bennett/Benny/Skidz/Skidmark here! I met this guy NICHOLAS LEONARD SIMPSON during freshmen year of Taylor while living on the BEST floor, the Brotherhood, of the BEST dorm, Samuel Morris. We went from friends to roommates to brothers for life in the span of 6 or 7 days (ahaha) because of this crazy floor, trips to Dans DONUTS, WILD traditions like the boxer run, Disney vacations with the wifeys, convos about sports and JESUS, and so many more memories. LTB for life! 

WAAZZUUUPPPPPP NICHOLASSSSSSS AND ABBYYYYY!!! So freakin proud of you guys and super thankful for the many memories that JB and I got to share with you and so many more to come (SHOUTOUT DISNEYYYY AHHHHH). Hopefully one day we can be neighbors again haha! In all seriousness I can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for you both. My prayer for you guys is Matthew 28: 19-20 that the Lord would use your marriage to GO out and love others as He has loved you through this marriage. Love you guys!!
