Our Wedding

Abby and Josh met in 2019 as freshmen at the University of Cincinnati. Initially spending time with each other through a mutual friend, over the next two years they grew to be close friends themselves. Often, Abby could be caught napping in Josh's dorm-room bed while he did homework. In August 2021, Abby and Josh started dating. They lived in neighboring apartments for two years, before moving to an old house in Bellevue, KY together in 2023. They adopted a puppy, Nessie, that same summer. While on a trip to Traverse City in August 2025, Josh proposed to Abby. From friends to partners to dog-parents and beyond, seven years has seen no shortage of title changes for the couple. What should I wear?Cocktail attire, please — we want everyone looking fabulous! No jeans, and please avoid white, cream, or ivory (we promise the bride has that covered).

Are my kids invited?While we would love to have everyone celebrate with us, the guests listed on the RSVP are the only ones we are able to invite.

What is the parking situation?There is a large parking lot at the venue where everyone will be able to park. If necessary, cars can be picked up the next morning before 10am.

FAQs

Hotel block is available for booking through June 25, 2026. King and 2 Queen Suites available for $149 and $159/night respectively. The hotel block is under Wise Hans Wedding or use the code 90C.

Home2 Suites by Hilton Shepherdsville Louisville South

Transportation to the venue will be available at the Home2 Suites from 4:00-4:30pm. Continuous shuttles will be running throughout the evening for hotel return.
