Romans 8:28 reminds us, "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose." Our story is a beautiful testament to that promise.

Starting out as cheer stunt partners, we quickly became great friends and soon couldn’t picture life without each other. Growing up, Abby could have never imagined herself leaving her heaven on earth (Texas), let alone finding her future husband in Virginia. Chris never envisioned himself becoming a cheerleader, but after being persuaded to try out "for the fun of it," he found more than just a new hobby—he found the love of his life. We were captivated by each other’s joyful spirits, and little did we know, God was already weaving our paths together in ways we would later come to understand.

Our first date was on May 3rd, 2024, just two weeks before Abby graduated and moved back to Texas. This sudden long-distance relationship left us uncertain about what the future held. Despite the miles between us, God’s hand was at work, providing us with the means and the strength to thrive. With many late-night FaceTimes and overnight layovers at LaGuardia, we realized the distance only made our bond stronger. Through it all, God was there beside us, guiding us.

On November 25th, 2024, in the stunning Dallas Arboretum, Chris surprised Abby with a proposal, marking the beginning of our forever. We truly believe that God brought us together to be partners in His Kingdom. As best friends who feel unstoppable when we're together, we can’t wait to continue this incredible journey He has set before us.
