Sara Baker - Matron of Honor
The big sister. Sara and I have always been family, however not always friends. Growing up, I was the annoying little sister and she was the bossy older one. This relationship took a 180 turn when I entered high school. We quickly grew to be best friends. I have always admired Sara and her confidence. She is goal driven, passionate, and caring. Someone who has been by my side my whole life, and will be right by my side on my wedding day!
Madison Farley - Maid of Honor
Madison and I met while working for the after school program. It was evident she had a love for Jesus and was proud of it. I knew we needed to be friends! Through dealing with 5 year olds, studying the Bible, and fun craft nights together, we became instant besties. Madison's heart for people shines through the way she encourages. I am so blessed to have her as my maid of honor.
Carmen Botros - Bridesmaid
I met Carmen my sophomore year of high school in Spanish class. It took awhile, but eventually we became very close friends. That year of high school was challenging, but I could always look to her for encouragement. Carmen is a friend who is dependable and genuine. No matter how long we go without seeing each other, our care for one another never changes. I am so glad to have such a sweet friend by my side.
Cammy Day - Bridesmaid
Cammy and I met through bible study at the BCM. We were in the same group for a year without ever having a conversation. Thankfully, that finally changed! We began to become close when Bible study was held at her apartment and I would stay to hang out for hours. Later, we ended up in the same discipleship group. I have had the privilege to grow to know Cammy. She is loyal, wise, and has a heart of gold. Standing by Cammy on her big day was an honor, and now it is an honor to have her by my side on mine.
Hannah Simpson - Bridesmaid
I actually randomly met Hannah through a mutual friend before coming to college. However, our friendship did not form until the second semester of freshmen year in college. We met one another through the BCM, but really bonded over suffering through Biology class together. Through sophomore year, we were in the same Bible study group and she would host girls' night. There was a point when I was staying over at her apartment until 3 a.m. just talking! Now I get the pleasure of living with her. The more I have learn about Hannah, the more I appreciate her honesty, serving attitude, and willingness for Christ. I love that she will be there on my wedding day!
Aubrey Smith - Bridesmaid
Aubrey and I met at Bible study. Our friendship blossomed over time through girls' night. I now have the joy of living with Aubrey. I have learned many things about her including: she is intentional with ever thought, a huge "Friends" fan, and one of the coolest people I have ever met. I value her words and advice. She is consistent with pointing me towards biblical truth. As a bridesmaid she will bring fun to the wedding day experience!
Rachel Smith - Bridesmaid
Before I had met Rachel, I heard so many great things about her through her boyfriend (now husband), Paxton. When I came to Tech, Rachel was on the lookout to become my friend. Looking back now, I praise the Lord he crossed our paths! I have had the pleasure to lead bible study and be in a discipleship group with Rachel. She is a person that exudes the joy of Jesus with every interaction. The "mom" of the friend group that cares for everyone. This friendship has been so pure. Having Rachel to be a bridesmaid is such a blessing!
Addie Havely - Junior Bridesmaid
Addie is Ethan's little sister. I met her about 1 month in of dating Ethan. The more I found out about Addie the more I realized how cool she is. She shocked me with her intelligence and talents. Addie is a phenomenal cook and only 13 years old! She is also a kind and confident person. I am so thankful that the Lord gave me Ethan's family and that I get to gain a little sister!
Jonathan Havely - Best Man
Jonathan is my younger brother, my “womb mate”, and my best friend. He often refers to himself as “the cooler brother”. He’s not wrong. I’ve had the pleasure of watching Jonathan grow into a solid man of God for the past 20 years, and I am honored to have him by my side on my wedding day. Fun fact about Jonathan: He once saw a grizzly bear in the wild, and after narrowly escaping with his life, he worked diligently to perfect his baby back ribs recipe.
Brody Cantrill - Groomsman
Brody and I met in high school in 2013, when I was a freshman. We grew closer when our families joined the same small group at our church, and after a cross country Spring Break trip in 2018, him and I became nearly inseparable. Brody has always been the one to make me laugh, listen to my rants, and be an all around cool dude. Fun fact about Brody: He has enough Hawaiian shirts to supply the entire state of Tennessee.
David Charlton - Groomsman
Dave and I met in 2019 at the TN Tech BCM. We became close friends on a Spring Break trip in Panama City, when we each shared our life stories with each other. From then on, Dave became a brother to me. In the time I've known him, Dave has been a constant source of encouragement/accountability, and has helped shape me into the man I am today. Fun fact about Dave: He runs late almost 100% of the time, and spends most of his time fishing.
Luke McGill - Groomsman
Luke and I met in 2019, during my junior year at TTU. He joined mine and Alex's small group the following semester, and I am fortunate to call him a brother. After that small group grew exponentially (which ended up splitting), him and I began to lead together. In that time, I had the privilege of growing close to Luke, and watching him grow into a strong, humble, and dedicated man of God. Fun fact about Luke: He loves strawberry flavored milk, and furthermore, prefers it over any other beverage.
Alex Pitman - Groomsman
Alex and I met at the BCM block party in January of 2019. We formed a friendship after being apart of the same small group, and our mutual liking of Tennessee Football, but got closer when we started meeting once a week to study the Bible, and do life together. The following semester, we had the opportunity to lead our own small group during the entire 2020 year, and it is one of my fondest college memories to this day. Alex is one of the meekest, and most kind people I have ever known; I am honored to know him and call him my brother. Fun fact about Alex: He knows literally everything about sports. Everything. Next time you see him, ask him.
Paxton Smith - Groomsman
Paxton and I met when I first transferred to TTU, and found out that was one thing we had in common. We grew closer after being in the same D-Group at FBC Cookeville, and I found out very quickly that Paxton can memorize scripture better than anyone I've ever known. After many D-Group meetings, workout sessions, and double dates, I'm proud to call Paxton a brother, more so a brother who I can go to for anything. Fun fact about Paxton: He can quote the entire first chapter of the book of James, and has many pairs of novelty socks.
Kainen Stoner - Groomsman
Kainen has been my roommate at Tech since the Fall 2019 semester. In that time, he has taught me many lessons, among these being how to clean up after myself (Abby, you can thank him later). All joking aside, Kainen has shown me how to approach situations peacefully, and with a servant's heart, making him one of the most selfless people I've ever met. Fun fact about Kainen: He drinks coffee like water, and (for some reason) enjoys running 5K's.
Pierce Wooten - Groomsman
I met Pierce during my junior year at TTU, and bonded with him shortly after when we met every week for accountability and scripture reading. In the time I've known him, Pierce has never failed to make life an adventure. After many hiking/fishing trips, movie nights, and late night steak cookouts, I've seen Pierce grow exponentially, especially in his faith. I'm proud to call him a dear friend, and my brother in Christ. Fun fact about Pierce: 90% of his annual budget is dedicated to concerts, many of which you've probably never heard of.
