Immediate Family Members Only Capital Jewish Museum, 575 3rd St. NW, Washington, DC 20001 Ceremony: 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. ETFamily Photos: 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET Dress Code: Black Tie OptionalThe ceremony will begin at 4:00 p.m. and conclude at 4:30 p.m. Please allow sufficient time for your arrival. The doors will open at 3:30 p.m. for guest arrival. Parking can be found on the street for a small fee. We highly recommend taking an Uber/Lyft/Taxi.

Pearl Street Warehouse, 33 Pearl St. SW, Washington, DC 20024 Cocktail Hour: 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.Reception: 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Dress Code: Black Tie Optional/FormalHeavy hors d'oeuvres will be served during cocktail hour. We recommend that our guests explore the city to the extent your plans allow as food options tend to be more expensive in the Wharf (near our venue). To be blunt, most of our favored food options would require a short Uber ride.

Our Favorite Things To Do

There are an overwhelming amount of museums/iconic buildings to visit in DC, but here are a few of our personal favorites:

FREE. We recommend seeing the&nbsp;Ginevra de' Benci&nbsp;painting by Leonardo Da Vinci on the second floor. This is the only painting on public view by Leonardo in the Americas. You can ask a museum docent (or google) if you want to see DaVinci's thumbprint on the lower left hand side of the painting.

National Gallery of Art

FREE. We recommend the hall of presidential portraits to all visitors, which includes a famous portrait of former President Obama by Kehinde Wiley and of former President Richard Nixon by Norman Rockwell.

National Portrait Gallery

FREE. We highly recommend booking a tour to visit the Capitol (<a href="https://www.visitthecapitol.gov/visit/book-a-tour" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">book here</a>). Tours last about an hour and include the Rotunda, National Statuary Hall, and the Crypt.

United States Capitol

FREE. Check the website for hours open to the public.

Supreme Court of the United States

FREE. Reserve free timed-entry tickets online before your visit to the Library.

Library of Congress

The&nbsp;National Mall&nbsp;offers beautiful views and a great place to run, bike and walk (bikes can be rented at Capital Bikeshare locations for a small fee or rented off the street via the Uber app). Here are some of our favorite places on/near the mall:

Standing on the spot where MLK delivered his "I Have a Dream" speech, you have a direct line of sight over the reflecting pool towards the Washington Monument and the Capitol Building.

DC's newest major memorial offers stunning views of the Tidal Basin, including the iconic Jefferson Memorial.

Things To Do

"Meant to Be"

Abby and Jake met in the student section of Bryant-Denny Stadium in 2014. Although Alabama beat Texas A&amp;M that day by a score of 59-0, the biggest winner that day was Jake, who got Abby’s phone number and then (after several weeks of persistence) to agree to a bowling date. After dating through college, they both took jobs in the Portland, Oregon area and moved in together in 2017. Shortly afterwards, Jake got into law school in Washington, D.C., and they embarked on their next adventure, moving cross-country yet again, and have lived in the District since 2018.&nbsp; Abby was born and raised in the Chicago area and Jake grew up in Colorado. Although they are from different cultural and religious backgrounds, and were raised in very different places, the similarities that they share have always been more important in their relationship. From the beginning, Abby and Jake have shared a connection regarding their love of travel, food, adventure, and most of all, on the importance of family and friends in their lives. They are so grateful for those who have supported them throughout their journey together and are looking forward to celebrating this next chapter in the city where they have so many amazing memories.
