“This is my BEAUTIFUL daughter Abigail!” said Abigail’s mom, Trudy, introducing us at Adoration Church. Unbeknownst to me, she changed my life forever that day, even if Abigail and I got off to a slow start. I was in full agreement on her beauty and wanted to grow closer to her, but considering church a place to meet God and not women I kept my distance. After a while, however, I began to realize more and more how lovely of a young woman I was sitting behind, and I couldn’t hold back any longer. We started talking and seeing each other outside of church in November of 2024 and began officially dating as boyfriend and girlfriend on Valentine’s Day. I knew very early on that I could NOT continue to say goodbye to her at the end of day, and just less than three months into our relationship we started talking about getting married. Getting engaged on the Fourth of July, we made a commitment to take our relationship right back to where it started at Adoration Church, as bride and groom.
