-The Yard and Still Austin: a fun strip of local breweries, wineries, and distilleries with many fun food trucks (we recommend Patty Palace and Spicy Boys Chicken at St. Elmo's Brewery); there's also a pickleball spot if you want to get your pickleball on!

-Wanderlust Win Co. - Shady Lane: a fun wine bar with lots of good food trucks

-Central Machine Works: a fun brewery out in East Austin; the perfect place to relax with a cold drink and good food

-Interstellar BBQ: need to drive north for this one, but apparently, it's the best BBQ around

-Take a walk around Lady Bird Lake and Austin's Boardwalk: start the walk at Austin Boardwalk Entrance (700 1/2 E Riverside Drive, Austin, TX 78704)

-Hike Mount Bonnell (Austin, TX 78731) to enjoy a high lookout over the Colorado River and Lake Austin

-Get a dip in Barton Springs; in the summer, it's a great way to cool off at one of Austin's OG spots (2131 William Barton Drive, Austin, TX 78746)
