Adam and Naomi met when they were living in Paris, both working as au pairs. This picture is the first picture Naomi took of Adam at her 20th birthday dinner; she found it captured his personality perfectly. The two of them made close friends with other local au pairs, where they did everything together as a group. Little did they know that this particular friendship would bloom..

Adam's first visit to Vancouver. Bafflingly, he told Naomi it was a convenient, unplanned week-long layover from Hong Kong to London, as a means of 'convenience'. In spite of this making no sense to anyone familiar with a world map, Naomi believed him. During the 'layover' Adam ended up getting kidney stones and professing his undying love to Naomi under a heavy dose of morphine. To this day, he does not recall these events.

Adam came and visited Naomi again, just to make sure she was doing okay. Semi-annual check-in, I suppose you could say. They also got cute photos like this one taken.

Naomi returned the favour and visited Adam in the UK. It was on this trip that Naomi first tried black pudding. Never again.

Naomi and Adam took a leap of faith and decided to move in. Naomi packed up her life and moved across the pond to London.

Around a month and a half later, the pandemic struck. It was during this time that Adam learned how to eat Naomi's cooking without complaining.

But between the culinary experimentation and wide-open space of the Suffolk countryside, it ended up being the best bonding experience the two new roommates could have ever prepared for.

Adam and Naomi relocated to Vancouver in the autumn of 2021. Or, if the immigration man is reading this website, it was May 2022.

Naomi and Adam realized they wanted to be best friends forever, so Adam took the chance (with Naomi's creative direction) and purchased a ring.

Just one day after his 30th birthday celebrations, Adam popped the question outside Canada Place in Vancouver. Even though she personally picked out the ring and had commented what a lovely day it was for a proposal only hours earlier, Naomi was TOTALLY surprised. Incredibly, the two were photographed by a curious passerby (thanks Mona).

Finally, our next adventure begins. June 7, 2024. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
