We are thrilled to invite you to our wedding in our favorite place, Western Maine. We recognize traveling to rural Maine in August may not be feasible for many, and we completely understand if you cannot make it. For those who can, see you in Maine!

Maybe! The only children whom we have invited thus far are family members, but we realize many friends may be traveling with their children in Maine and/or lack a childcare option. Please reach out to us if you want to bring your children, and we will do our best to accommodate. We certainly don't want you to miss out but may have some space constraints.
Come as you are, and wear what you like. With that said, here is what we imagine many will choose to wear in case helpful.
Welcome Event: Very casual. Jeans or shorts, t-shirts or flannel, swimsuits, etc.
Wedding: Dressy casual-- summer dresses, khakis, button-downs, etc. No need for suits, jackets, or ties, unless that is your preference, and we recommend against pumps given the ceremony's outdoor location. There will be a good bit of walking (or transfer via car for those who need assistance), so we encourage comfortable footwear.
Afterparty: We recommend bringing an extra layer, as Maine summer nights can get chilly. Feel free to bring a change of clothes if you prefer!
Farewell Brunch: Very casual. Shorts, t-shirts, etc.
The wedding will begin late afternoon on Saturday August 17. We have optional events on August 16 and 18.
If you plan to attend all the events, you will want to book lodging for at least August 16 and 17.
Most local inns have two-night minimums, but there are larger chains in North Conway, NH and Windham, ME that offer one night (though no bus transportation from the venue) if you only need a room on August 17.
Head on over to the "Things to Do" page to see some of our favorite things to do in the area. On Saturday morning, we recommend swinging by the Bridgton Farmers' Market (and the bridge/ nature path behind the parking lot) before perusing the shops in Bridgton or heading out on a hike. There are also a number of town beaches on the local lakes if you prefer to go for a swim. Check out Highland Lake, Long Lake, Woods Pond, or Kezar Lake, to name a few.
