Yes! Everyone is invited to our wedding welcome party at Starr Hill Brewery in the Charlottesville Dairy Market. Their address is 946 Grady Avenue, Charlottesville, Virginia 22903. The welcome party will have food and beer and will be from 6:00pm to 9:00pm on May 2, 2025. We also plan to spend a couple hours at our favorite coffee shop, Mudhouse, on Sunday May 4, 2025 from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Join us for a cup of coffee on your way out!

The venue is about a 30-minute drive outside Charlottesville, VA. Two buses will leave from the Omni Charlottesville Hotel and the Marriott Residence Inn at 5:15 pm. You do not have to stay at the hotel to get on the buses, they will accommodate anyone who would like a ride. The buses will leave at exactly at 5:15 so ensure that you are early for the pick-up (5:00 pm). Buses will pick up outside the Omni at the Water Street bus stop and outside the Marriott. We highly encourage you to take advantage of the shuttles, especially if you plan on drinking! The venue has poor cell reception so even if you Uber to the ceremony, plan on taking the shuttles back to Charlottesville. The shuttles will leave from the venue after the reception at 11:30pm.

Yes! There is plenty of parking at Veritas for anyone who would like to drive themselves and not utilize the bus service.

Veritas Vineyard and Winery is located at 151 Veritas Lane, Afton Virginia 22920. An excellent map of their location is provided at their website and is available here: https://veritaswines.com/visit From Charlottesville: Get on I-64 W in Albemarle County, towards Afton Mountain. Follow I-64 W to US-250 W for fourteen miles, then take exit 107. Turn left and continue on US-250 W for about 7 miles, until you get to a roundabout. Take the exit in the roundabout headed towards VA-151 and stay on VA-151 for about two miles. Turn right onto Veritas Lane and follow the signs to the vineyard parking lot. From Waynesboro: Though you should feel free to come on any road that you wish, and it may save you a few minutes to get off at exit 99, we would encourage people coming from the west to still take exit 107. The road into Veritas from exit 99 – the top of Afton Mountain – is quite narrow and less intuitive than taking exit 107, entering the roundabout and making the left turn onto Veritas Lane. So, if you are coming from Stanton or Waynesboro, you will start on I-64 E and ascent Afton Mountain before descending about eight miles and taking exit 107 and taking a right onto US-250 W. From there, you will continue on US-250 W for about 7 miles, until you get to a roundabout. Take the exit in the roundabout headed towards VA-151 and stay on VA-151 for about two miles. Turn right onto Veritas Lane and follow the signs to the vineyard parking lot.

Weather permitting, our wedding will have an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, and then we will move inside for our reception and dancing. The reception will take place immediately behind the outdoor ceremony location so there is no need to worry about traveling from one location to the other. The rain plan for the ceremony will be to have the event in the same hall as the reception, if the need arises.

Yes, following the ceremony there will be a plated dinner served, please indicate your dinner selection on the invitation so that we can ensure that you receive the dinner of your choosing. As you may know, Adam and Christina are both vegetarians. All food served during the cocktail hour and reception will be vegetarian. We look forward to enjoying a delicious meal with you!

Yes, there is no need to bring cash to buy drinks. Beer, wine, and mixed drinks will be provided during cocktail hour and throughout the evening. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be provided.

Once we send out our invitations, you will have two options to RSVP: (1) by indicating on the actual invitation and sending back the RSVP; or (2) by using the RSVP function on our website. You should feel free to use either!

Your coming to our wedding is plenty gift enough, but should you want to bring a gift to the wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience
