Where to fly into?

Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. From Anchorage the drive down to Soldotna is a very scenic three hour drive. There is another option of taking a flight from Anchorage to the Kenai Municipal Airport, in Kenai Peninsula Borough. The Kenai airport is only about 20 minutes from Soldotna, Kenai is a small town with less vehicle rental options.

How do I get from Anchorage to Soldotna?

You will head south out of Anchorage on the Seward Highway along the Turnagain Arm. There are many pullouts and scenic stops along the way. You will stay on this road until you reach the Sterling Highway, on the right hand side of the road. There will be signs to exit towards Soldotna and Homer, continuing straight would bring you to Seward. Turn right onto the Sterling Highway, that will bring you to Soldotna.

What will the weather be like?

Fall in Alaska can range from mid to lower 50s during the day and drop to the 30s at night. It could rain, it could snow, come prepared with layers. If you plan to hike or do an outdoor tour don’t forget your rain jacket.

Fishing License

Our venue is located right on the world famous Kenai River. Trout and silver salmon will be in season during this time. If you are interested in fishing buying a license is necessary. You can either purchase a fishing license online ahead of time or when you arrive in-person at Fred Meyer. How & when should I RSVP?

To RSVP, please click the RSVP tab here on our website and type in your name. All invited guests in your party will appear here to mark as “attending” or “declining”. Please RSVP before August 1, 2024. After this date we will be sending a final headcount to our vendors following this deadline. You can also text Adam or I at any time. Where will the wedding be taking place?

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Cusack’s on the Kenai. The ceremony will take place either outside or in a tent, weather pending. We will also be hosting a welcome dinner the night before at the same location for everyone to meet and mingle!

We will have a shuttle the night of the wedding and the night before for the welcome dinner.
