David and Addy first met during orientation week at the MSU College of Law. Although they always ran in similar circles, the two never really hit it off until their 1L professor, Mary Bedikian (who will, of course, be at the wedding), paired them together for a mock negotiation.

As it turns out, the stubbornness and unrelenting nature that made David appreciate Addy as a negotiation partner was also the reason he fell in love with her (and why he absolutely hates arguing or playing board games with her).

In the first summer they spent together, the two took a trip up to Boyne Mountain. It was during that trip that Addy realized David was "the one" (even despite the 3 rounds of golf he played that weekend). Likewise, David had the same realization...largely because Addy didn't bat an eye at his 54 holes.

In the 4 years since they met, David and Addy have created some of their favorite memories at Boyne (cue the video of Addy rolling down the ski mountain after David coerced her to prematurely take on a Blue). Long story short, when it came time to decide on a wedding venue, they couldn't imagine tying the knot anywhere other than the place they fell in love...and where their mini-aussie Benny can tag along.
