To know Tomas is to love him. He started out as just another pain in the ass student at Mr. Standlee's school, but he eventually grew to become like family to the Standlees (and now David). There's nobody in the world with a sense of humor or personality quite like his. It's only right that he be the one to marry the soon-to-be Szymanski's.

Gabby is Addy's little sister and Maid of Honor. Growing up, the two used to bicker like crazy (Addy still hasn't moved on from a few stolen shirts), but with every year that's passed the two have only grown closer and closer. Addy has relied heavily on Gabby's honest nature and bubbly personality to help her through the wedding planning process. These days, the two are less like sisters and more like best friends.

Nicole is David's oldest sister who has quickly become one of Addy's very best friends. The two share an obsession with Bravo TV, Aperol Spritzes, and trips to Somerset Mall. They first met at Nicole's wedding in 2020 - what a full circle moment to now have Nicole stand by Addy on her big day.

Natalie is the middle Szymanski child and the life of every party. Natalie welcomed Addy into the family quickly and with open arms (after a self-confessed internet investigation of Addy, of course). Despite their tight knit relationship, Natalie's pup Winston and Addy & David's dog Benny are somehow even closer than they are.

Mady and Addy have been best friends since 6th grade. Both their parents are high-school principals in the Boise area and the two have always loved testing their parents' patience together. Mady (along with Brenna) drove all the way from Boise to East Lansing with Addy when she first moved for law school, and she's made many visits since!

Colton and Addy went to law school together at MSU. When they were placed on the same Arbitration team, it was like destiny. Their shared dry humor and passion for Italian food (ok, for carbs), has made for a friendship that will last a lifetime. Colton is Addy's built in personal stylist, therapist, and travel partner. There's no way Addy could experience her biggest day without Colton there alongside her.

Addy and Allegra have been through nearly every major phase of life together. They began playing soccer together at a young age, both played at Boise State, and were roommates for 3 years. Allegra is the most creative, genuine, and loyal friend a girl could ever ask for. These two were partners in crime in college and nobody laughs harder together than they do. Entering this next chapter of life, Allegra will be there to support Addy, just like she's done for the last 12+ years.

Brenna and Addy are lifelong family friends. They've played soccer together since they were kids (and against each other in college) and their friendship has only gotten stronger over the years. Brenna is the kind of person you can't help but love. Her ability to make others laugh is unmatched - and possibly Addy's favorite quality about her. Many of Addy's favorite memories in life have Brenna in them - her wedding day will be yet another.

Sarah and Addy met on the cross-country team in 6th grade. After coming in last and second-to-last in every race, they've been inseparable ever since. Sarah, a photographer, has documented all of Addy's biggest moments - graduations, her engagement, etc. - but on THIS big day, she won't be behind the camera...she'll be right there next to Addy.

Hannah and Addy met in law school at MSU. They bonded over school, a mutual love for baking (mainly eating), and their pups Benny, Koda, and Nala. Addy can't wait to have Hannah's dependability, selflessness, and giant smile by her side on wedding day, and for many more years after that.

Clesi was a dancer at Boise State, which is where she first met Addy (at the University - not at dance tryouts, to be clear). The two lived together (along with Allegra) during their Junior year. Clesi would attempt to teach Addy and Allegra the BSU dance numbers whenever she needed a good laugh. Her loyalty and sense of humor have played a huge role in Addy's life.

Meg and Addy went to different high schools but soccer and their mutual friends (Brenna and Mady) brought them together. Megan is sunshine in human form. No gathering, evening on the town, or girls night in would be complete without her...and neither would wedding day!

Anna was one of Addy's very first friends when she came to law school at MSU. After being assigned to the same section, the two immediately clicked at lunch during orientation week and they haven't looked back since. Just last September, Addy was lucky enough to stand by Anna in her wedding...Addy couldn't be more excited to have Anna do the same for her.

Eva and Addy played soccer together at Boise State and were roommates in the dorms. The two played defense side by side and spent their time off the field just as close. Whether it was watching film, traveling across the country for away games, doing activities around Boise, or lounging on the couch watching the World Cup, you couldn't keep these two apart for long.

Alisa moved to Boise from California in middle school. Her and Addy immediately hit it off when Alisa joined Addy's club soccer team - you'd never find them in different hotel rooms during tournament trips. The two have remained the best of friends ever since, and Addy couldn't imagine not having Alisa's contagious laugh around on her big day.

Among the many reasons why David and Addy love Boyne is that Griffin, David's Best Man, is often up there with them. Griffin and David spent their adolescent years working bag staff together (for Griff's dad, Casey, now Boyne's Director of Golf), and wreaking havoc all across property. These boys have been coworkers, golf partners, best friends, and the brothers to one another they never had by blood. David can't imagine getting married without Griff by his side.

JT, another former student of Tim's (like Tomas), also found his place as a pseudo-family member of the Standlees. In 2020, JT came out to visit Addy in East Lansing. David, having heard that JT had also golfed in college, recruited him for an outing that weekend. Before JT could even board his flight back to Boise, him and David formed a bond just as strong as the one he shares with Addy. The couple's big day would undoubtedly have a giant void if JT wasn't standing by them as they said "I do."

When David first heard his strong-willed sister Natalie was moving all the way to Philly for some guy, he knew he had to be special...and he was right. Rich and David share a unique bond - not only because they can commiserate over Natalie's wine-induced living room concerts with questionable choreography, but also because they share a love for golf, sports, law, and family. David thought he was just getting another brother-in-law, but instead, he got another best friend and a built-in Michigan Am caddy for life.

Jason is Nicole's husband and David's first brother-in-law. Not only does David admire Jay for the hard-worker he is, but also because he's a phenomenal husband and father. All these two need is a couple chairs, cold beers, and a good conversation about sports, politics, or life. David was lucky enough to stand by Jay as he said "I do" to Nicole, and David is beyond excited to have Jay's support in return.

David's sisters have brought him two older brothers in the last 3 years, but thanks to Jake, David finally won't be the youngest in the family. Jake is Addy's middle sibling (Gabby is the baby) and he couldn't be more grateful that David FINALLY brings some more male energy to balance out the crazy Standlee girls. David genuinely loves his newfound older sibling role and has fully embraced Jake's late-night FaceTimes with questions about his undergrad business-law class or requests for beer money.

Dom's relationship with David is arguably more important than even Addy's - the two are Thursday night golf league partners. Dom, club fitter turned professional poker player, enables both David's extensive golf AND betting hobbies...something Addy might be upset by if it weren't for how much money David wins from Dom in a calendar year. Dom is an unwavering supporter of David and Addy and they can't wait to have him join them on wedding day.

Robby was brought into David's life (unsurprisingly) through golf. What started as a round at The Emerald with mutual buddies quickly turned into a close friendship. Robby is, luckily, FAR better at being a friend than he is at hitting the fairway on the first hole at Hawk Hollow. Robby helped David and Addy move into their new house, is Benny's favorite pet sitter, and is David's personal club fitter whenever David can sneak over to his shop at lunch.

David met Peter through his sister's friendship with Peter's wife, Amanda. Amanda is a fellow MSU Law grad and David and Peter would often hit the town together in East Lansing. Between MSU football games, golfing, Peter's engagement to Amanda at the Peach Bowl in 2022, and many trips up north, these two have made countless memories together and will continue to do so for years to come.

Brett and David started as college teammates but grew to become roommates, best friends, and even business partners. Whether spending their time being self-proclaimed movie critics or reimagining the Pittsburgh bar experience (RIP to the BarHopp App), these two were inseparable at good ol' Robert Morris. Not only did they help get each other through college, but now David and Brett get to stand up in each other's weddings in the year to come.

Archer isn't David's blood relative, but he might as well be. David and Archer's childhoods wouldn't have been complete without one another. Fast forward to their 20's and they may live on opposite sides of the country, but no amount of distance could ever lessen their bond. While they would often butt heads as kids, their arguments these days are limited to the Michigan State/Michigan rivalry. David's wedding day - much like many of his other milestone memories - will feature Archer one of David's most important supporters.

Weston and David met working bag staff together at Boyne Mountain around 2013 and they've been friends ever since! During grad school, Weston and David would often visit each other at their respective campuses. Weston is also getting married in Northern Michigan in the next year, at which David will get to stand proudly as a groomsman. Mary, Weston's fiancé (who Addy hit it off with instantly) is a former college golfer & coach who, luckily, makes up for whatever Weston may lack in golf skill.
