Yes! Children are invited and there will be children-friendly activities at the reception, and childcare services will be available.

Bed and Breakfast rooms are reserved for our loved ones with mobility concerns. We will reach out to guest individually to offer these rooms.

June in Athens is typically 70-90 degrees and humid.

The wedding will still occur outdoors at Deer Ridge Bed & Breakfast. In case of rain, there will be a large tent to protect from the rain itself, and we will adjust the location of the ceremony to the gravel lot to minimize the impact of the wet grass and trail. Barring truly dangerous inclement weather such as severe thunderstorms, camping is on! Indoor shelter will be available if needed.

Parking information will be posted on signs at the venue. Many people will be asked to park on grass. If you are able to carpool from your city or from within Athens, we would appreciate it!

Whimsical Garden Party: think dressy casual like sundresses and button-ups. Jackets totally optional. Sensible, sturdy, grass-friendly shoes that may get wet if conditions are poor.

The wedding will be outdoors. Tents for shade will be available, and you will be able to use the inside space at the Bed and Breakfast to cool down.

We are hiring a professional photographer for the ceremony and reception. Please kindly refrain from taking photos during the ceremony as they might interfere with the photographer.

We will begin seating at 4pm. There will be a shuttle from the lower parking area to the meadow and a trail to the ceremony space. Please plan time accordingly.

With exceptions for guests with disabilities or mobility issues, nearly all parking will be at the bottom of the driveway. There is a walk/hike from the parking, up the hill to the Bed and Breakfast, but a shuttle service will be available for those who need it.

Food will be provided (free of charge) by the Pitabilities Food Truck from 6-9pm during the reception. You will be able to order food to your taste - check out the menu below!
