We are so excited you are taking the time to come and celebrate us in Columbus! This is Adlie's hometown and she is thrilled to make a list of all her favorite things to do, make a whole weekend out of the wedding and enjoy some of these suggestions :)
Talk a walk on the Riverwalk! It is such a pretty place to stroll and explore, or to take a run if you're the ambitious type! Walk down towards the Mill (in front of Synovus) and cross the little bridge to the island where the whitewater course is. You can watch kayakers and boats come down the river and through the rapid.
Highside Market is the newest addition to uptown Columbus. They have a variety of food options including Flying Biscuit Cafe, Parlor Doughnuts, and Whit's Frozen Custard, they also have Nonic which is a beer bar and kitchen, as well as places to shop, like Council Wardrobe Studio and Mountain High Outfitters.
Make a full weekend of our wedding and check out our white water rafting! Conveniently downtown close to most hotels in the block, this would be a fun experience to enjoy before Saturday night. If not wanting to participate, you can also sit along the rocks and watch others!
With Columbus being close to the military base, Fort Moore, enjoy free access to the Infantry Museum. This is a beautiful location filled with tons of rich history to enjoy about our nation.
Nonic is a fun addition to Columbus and is located within Highside Market. They have great food and a rooftop bar to enjoy the beautiful summer weather. This would also be a fun place to go if you want to continue to celebrate after the wedding.
Iron Bank is an old bank turned into a coffee shop. You can enjoy coffee in the Vault or upstairs in with a view! They have great coffee and they serve both breakfast and lunch!
If you have ever been to Pour in Atlanta or other cities, it is the same concept, so you get a wrist band that has ounces on it, and you tap the wrist band to get different beers, wines, etc. They also have a liquor bar, and they have lots and lots of yummy foods as well! A great spot to have appetizers, drinks, and share a meal!
This is the rooftop bar that is on top of Hotel Indigo! It is such a fun place to grab a drink and some apps and has the most beautiful view!
Another great place to take a stroll through. It is right on the Riverwalk and in the middle of uptown Columbus. They have Jeremiah’s Italian Ice, Maltitude, Poke Sun, El Primo Taqueria, The Bakeshop by Fountain City Coffee Co., The Original Hot Dog Factory and Filberto’s.
Dinglewood is a true Columbus staple, with lots of history and love behind it! If you like taking it old school, venture over to Dinglewood to treat yourself to a scramble dog and a cherry coke while you sit at the counter on stools.
Mortens is a great dinner spot in a part of town called Old Town. It is a great spot to catch a drink and dessert on the deck and enjoy a walk around the neighborhood after.
