Adrienne and Mike met in college at St. John’s University. They had a film class together, but Adrienne most remembers Mike as the guy who worked in the computer lab. While the two were friends in college, it wasn’t until Adrienne got Leo Charles in 2020 that Mike decided to make his move. In typical millennial fashion, he slid into her DMs, responding to every picture of Leo Charles that she posted on Instagram and, in turn, working his way into Adrienne’s heart.

One of the strongest ties between Adrienne and Mike is their shared love of Disney. Adrienne, a lifelong Disney fan, has been planning her Disney wedding since she was in high school. As fate would have it, she would meet the one person who matches her love for the parks and who was all in on the idea of a Disney wedding - Mike! Mike came to love Disney as an adult, but his love of the parks rivals Adrienne’s. The two travel every few months to Walt Disney World and dream about one day living closer to the parks.

In October 2022, Mike and Adrienne went - you guessed it - on the Disney Fantasy. Mike had planned to propose in Epcot (Adrienne’s favorit park) in Walt Disney World the day before they left for the cruise, but Hurricane Ian had caused them to arrive too late to make it to the parks. He shifted to Plan B, and got down on one knee in the atrium of the Disney Fantasy after a beautiful day in the Virgin Islands.

The night they got off the cruise, Adrienne and Mike took a walk to the Wedding Pavillion at Disney. Adrienne, already having the idea of a Disney wedding in mind, saw a bride pulling up in Cinderella’s glass coach and she knew, without any doubt, that there was nowhere else she could plan a wedding.
