Yay! A Save The Date or invitation! Do I get a plus one!
Yay! You got the invite! While we love you all, please limit who you bring to the people listed on your invitation!
Can my kids come?
If they are listed on the invitation, of course! We're planning to make sure they'll have some entertainment as well during the ceremony and reception!
I notice that the ceremony and reception are two different events on the online RSVP! What's up, doc?
It's for the bride's anxiety-riddled mind! Since the ceremony and reception are at two different locations, we want to make sure we know who's coming to what, specifically when it comes to the reception!
What's the parking situation?
Both Webster Groves Baptist and Lemp Mansion each have their own parking lots and street parking! That being said, Lemp's street parking does cost some change (city parking meters!) and the parking lot is on the smaller side!
How dressed up do I need to be for this shindig?
Dress nice, but comfortable! This will be in August and while the ceremony is in the nice, cold church, the reception will be on the patio of the mansion, though it will be the evening, and we plan to have fans to help if it's too hot!
I hear this a haunted mansion! Do I need to worry about any spirits?
Well, the patio isn't haunted as far as I'm aware, and the bride isn't planning on bringing her tarot deck to check, so the only spirits you should worry about are at the bar!
What do I need to know for dinner?
We're planning on a buffet, and we will have an open bar! We'll post the menu once finalized! That being said, when it comes to drinks, keep in mind, we've got children, and the bride's grandparents watching....Don't go to overboard....
How soon can I RSVP!
As soon as you get a Save The Date or Invite! But please let us know if you'll be in attendance by June 15, 2025!
Can I bring ghost hunting equipment?
While the need to understand the supernatural is great, please refrain!
Where's the best place to stay in town?
Well, that depends on your fancy! There's plenty of hotels all over the place, but the Johnson Family favorite is the Best Western in Kirkwood (right next to the Wallyworld and Target) and that's where the couple have a room block for those interested!
What's the best way to RSVP?
You can either submit it here through the Knot! Or you can send it through snail mail (Just remember to put your name!).
Can I get a tour or history of the house?
We will not be allowed inside the house during the wedding, as it is a functioning restaurant, and has many activities on Saturday nights! That being said, the bride has also been banned from giving her own personal historical tour from outside the house, because apparently the groom believes she would become too hyper-focused. That also being said, the bride has included this link >:D. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lemp_Mansion
