Things to Do

Well, I'm here! Now what?

Yay!! You're here! There is so much to do around St. Louis, whether it's just you or a group! Here's a list of fun places to go, and the bride and groom's favorite eat out spots!

Places to go!

Forest Park

One of the jewels of St. Louis! You can walk around and enjoy the park, or enjoy one of the many free museums and attractions!

Website

Saint Louis Zoo

Completely free and a great place to go with kids!

St. Louis Art Museum

Beautiful works of art, and amazing special exhibits!

The St. Louis Science Center

One of the most entertaining museums in St. Louis, with lots of fun interactive exhibits (and it's free!), and if you get in the Friday before the wedding, it's First Friday, which means special events!

The Boathouse in Forest Park

A great way to get an arm and leg workout without meaning to!

The Hill

The Oldest Italian Neighborhood west of Mississippi! Plenty of cute shops, bakeries, and restaurants

The Delmar Loop

A great place to shop and walk around with music stores, bookstores, and vintage clothing shops! Also home to the original Fitz's Rootbeer location (a personal favorite of A+J)

Busch Stadium

The BEST Ballpark ever (in the bride's humble opinion)! You can actually tour the stadium and see some of the things that make Cardinals baseball so much fun to watch (it's also the first place Aerin took Joe to see in St. Louis).

The Gateway Arch

A super fun and education experience with a museum in the bottom and the ability to take a tram to the top, and if we happen to have a tornado, the top is the safest place to be! If you head over the way, we recommend parking at Ballpark Village and walking over!

Eckert's Farm in Belleville, IL

One of the best places to get home-grown fruit, and veggies, along with cider donuts. It's about a 30 min. drive, but the restaurant and store make it all worth it!

The City Museum

An excellent place for adventure and fun for adults and kids!

The Magic House

One of the best Children's Museums in the United States, and a favorite for those with a creative bug (you may never escape)!

The Novel Neighbor

The best independent bookstore ever!!

FOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDD

Fitz's

Two different locations! One in the Loop, and one in South County! Best place to get St. Louisian foods, and have the best and biggest float you've seen!

Mama's on The Hill

Our favorite Italian joint! Amazing pasta to be had by all!

Olympia

Best greek in town (that we're currently aware of) and sweetest drinks!

House of India

Our favorite Indian place! If you have a friend, get the dinner for two and you will not leave disappointed or hungry!

Lulu's

Our favorite sit-down Chinese place!

Sushi Station

Our favorite Japanese place, with amazing sushi rolls that won't leave you hungry!

Ted Drewes

The best Frozen Custard (not ice cream) in the world! A must for any visit to St. Louis!

Hi-Pointe

A favorite St. Louis chain that will leave you coming back for more!

The Parkmoor

Best burgers ever, and a winner of the Webster Groves ChiliFest!

Boardwalk Cafe

The best breakfast spot ever and always good the morning after a big celebration!

Strange Donuts

Strange, but absolutely delicious with one near the Best Western and one closer to wedding venue in Maplewood (to be fair though the venue is in the middle of everything)!
