Agape and Mark first met on a busy summer training day for community/resident advisors at Northern Illinois University in August of 2018. Clearly a fateful interaction, as things were set into motion from that very first 'Hello!'

Coworkers by necessity, friends by choice, the couple grew closer as they realized their mutual interest in video games and nerdy things! Kingdom Hearts was among th first things that anchored the interest in stone. They spent many shifts on early Friday mornings discussing their interests and current video game obsessions. They spent many late night dorm rounds chatting about their likes, their lives, their everything.

Then, Dungeons and Dragons was introduced. Agape likes to claim she knew she liked him when she learned he was dedicated to the silly little game that she herself loved. They played together, crafting stories into the night, discussing lore and spells and allowing their creativity to run wild. It was then they knew - Hey! This is probably it <3

In 2020 Agape moved to Towson, Maryland to pursue her first nursing job in pediatric mental health at Johns Hopkins. For the first time, they were truly long distance. Shortly after Mark graduated with his Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy at NIU, he moved to St. Louis, Missouri to pursue his PhD in Medical Family Therapy. Again, the distance prolonged. Yet with many quick weekend visits, lots of calls, and co-op games, the two continued to stay strong and faithful to each other.

In 2022, Agape finally made the move back home to the Midwest to be with Mark in St. Louis. Together, they now have a cat named Lint and a puppy named Mochi, whom they adore with all their hearts. Working to finish both their terminal education degrees and many years later, Agape and Mark still continue to strengthen the bond they've planted, cultivated, and grown together throughout the years.

Together with their families they are SO excited to invite you to this special day and event in their lives. Having come from various places and times, they are overjoyed to finally have everyone in one place at one time to share the love!
