It all started when Mrs. Vincent partnered us together in her Acting 1 class. We chose to do a breakup scene as our acting final, toootally not hinting at anything...

This was the first time we ever hung out somewhere other than school. We went to Oaks Park *this becomes important later ;)*. We were so little!

Theatre is definitely what brought us closer together as friends. But we soon realized through after school hangouts, long rehearsals, and backstage shenanigans, that "friends" was only going to be a temporary term for us (of course not until years later).

Our first ever date, or as we like to call it "First Date Round One", was a hike to Piddock Mansion!

Our second attempt at a first date, also known as "First Date Round Two; Electric Boogaloo", was at Oaks Park! *Told you this would be important later :D*

That same night, we made it official after Aidan's clever plan of asking Mae out using gel pens and her hand <3

Because Aidan was away at college, we spent almost every night together over video call <3

Our first ever trip together was to Forks, WA for Mae's birthday (because of Mae's obsession with Twilight), and that's where we coined the term "I love you to Forks and back" <3

Despite the challenges of being long distance, we still celebrated many milestones together <3 Including...

Getting a promise ring <3 *I'd actually been wearing this ring since March as a birthday gift, but was "regifted" the ring as a promise from Aidan a few months later :)*

Another milestone was Maebeth's graduation from Clackamas Community College! This was a big deal for Mae because she's a first generation student :)

It had been a while since we'd taken a trip together, and both of us were plotting something individually, so we agreed to take another trip to Forks! (This photo was taken on the hike up to Storm King Mountain)

Here we were at the very top of Storm King Mountain :) We sat up there for a while taking in the views, until we started to get rained on.

On our way back down, Aidan pulled us aside and *very discretely* set up a camera to record his proposal!

But little did he know that Mae was going to turn around a propose to him right back <3

We spent our first few days being engaged in our own little slice of heaven <3 "I love you to Forks and back, My Love!"

Not long after that, Aidan graduated from Oregon State University in December! We watched him receive his Bachelor's that summer :) *I just realized that we graduated exactly one year apart from each other!* (Crazy!)

Even though our timeline feels like it goes way back...

Our real journey is just getting started <3
