Jess has been obsessed with me since we got to walk home together in 7th grade. We have shared a lot in life, including our families. She is my mom's favorite daughter on my bad days and Zach's favorite person to roast Aileen with.

Most days I introduce Katie as family.........other days as best friend. Katie and I could have been more of friends than family if when we were kids, she could sleep away from home and I wasn't put to bed around 6:30 pm. Katie and Zach bonded the night they met.

My bed moved to the couch at Vivian's house when she was a baby. I was only salty about it until the day she was born. Vivian has always been one of my favorite people to hang out with. She is clever and brave. She is kind and creative. She has really good dog names (she named Dale). I wouldn't be marrying Uncle Zach if Vivian didn't show me what true love was!!!

I first met Robb while attending Eastern Michigan University. We were among the few aiming for a career in Emergency Management and quickly became friends when he started as an AmeriCorps member at the Washtenaw County Red Cross, where I was an intern. Our friendship blossomed as we spent time together, brewing beer and bonding over our shared interests. We both began our careers in Michigan and eventually, Robb transitioned to FEMA, with me following soon after. Our paths led us to Chicago, where we lived together on and off as we navigated our adult lives. In the summer of 2022 i started dating Aileen and Robb served as a sounding board while I worked through my feelings for her. He said she sounded great and they hit it off right away, He will continue to be a part of our lives and is always there when I need a sounding board.

My younger brother, Nick, has always been one of my best friends and someone I deeply admire. Even though we don’t talk every day, we always pick up right where we left off when we chat or see each other. Nick has been there through thick and thin, ready to help or offer his perspective whenever I need it. He’s a hard worker and excels at almost everything he does. While our careers differ, we share a strong work ethic, a love for dogs, and a passion for video games. When I first introduced Aileen to the family, she and Nick hit it off immediately, which only strengthened our bond. I’m eagerly looking forward to celebrating our marriage, grateful to have chosen the best men for the occasion.
