We don't want anyone to feel obliged to stay at our chosen venue! Whilst the venue is a little out of the way (approx. 20 minute drive to Scarborough), there are alternatives. For those on a budget there is a Premier Inn near North Bay, which is a nice 2 minute walk from the beach. Alternatively we can recommend the Bike & Boot hotel on South bay. This has seaside views however is a little further away. We would recommend booking asap as it will be peak summer season and Scarborough can get very busy.

If driving to the venue please note there is ample parking both in the car park and on the street outside for guests. On google maps the venue may not come up as Grand Villa Heights but as it's previous name of 'Raven Hall'. Public transport is very limited with only 3 buses a day. If travelling away from the venue in the evening we would recommend pre booking a taxi as there are often long waits at peak times. We would recommend Nippy Taxis on 01723377377.

There is no expectation for guests to give us anything apart from your company on the day. However if you do want to gift anything money towards a honeymoon at a later date (when we both stop accepting places on more university courses!) would be greatly appreciated.

We're hoping no one will go hungry on our big day! There will be canapes and drinks after the ceremony, a three course meal, an evening buffet and more throughout the day. Please let either of us know if there are any allergies or dietary requirements. On the website there is a section included named 'wedding breakfast' where guests can see our main meal choices. Please ensure we have your options when you RSPV.
