Aishat and Ronald met at Christ Harvesters Church in Aurora, CO, back in 2013. Aishat and Ronald were both in the church choir; Aishat was a lead singer, and Ronald played the talking drum. From the beginning, they were just two kids who attended the same church, and over the years, they became friends. Aishat and Ronald attended the same college, had mutual friends, and graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in May of 2020.

One day in October of 2020, Ronald swiped up on Aishat's Snapchat story with the heart eyes emoji and asked her to go get ice cream. From their ice cream date came many more dates, including going to the movies, attending concerts, going out to eat, and getting to know each other. After three months of hanging out and going on dates, on December 26th of 2020, Ronald and Aishat went to Zoo Lights at the Denver Zoo, and that was the night Ronald asked Aishat to be his girlfriend. For two years, Ronald and Aishat dated. During these two years, they went on more dates and eventually became best friends.

On October 15th, 2022, Ronald asked Aishat to be his wife. With the grace of God, prayer, counseling, and mentoring, Aishat and Ronald got married on December 21st, 2022.

On July 13, 2024, Aishat and Ronald will be celebrating one and a half years of a beautiful marriage. They thank God every day for their marriage and can't wait to celebrate it.
