What is the color of the day/ dress code for traditional engagement and wedding day?
The color of the day for the traditional engagement is Peach, and the color of the day for the wedding day is Teal and Silver. We do ask our guest to wear the colors for each day but it is not required. The dress code will be formal/traditional for both days.
Is the traditional engagement, the ceremony and the reception at the same location?
Yes, both the traditional engagement and the wedding celebration will be at the same venue. You can find the address for the venue on the invitation.
Will there be parking at the venue?
Yes, there are multiple parking spaces at the venue. There will be signs directing you to where to park and where to enter the venue.
What is the weather like in Colorado in July?
The weather is usually mid 80's to Mid 90's in July. There is a chance for rain and wind. Colorado's weather can be unpredictable, so we recommend to check the weather ahead of time.
Is RSVP required?
We do ask that our guest RSVP to let us know that you are coming. You can RSVP on the website.
Is the traditional engagement and the wedding celebration on the same day?
No, they are on different days. The traditional engagement is on Thursday July 11th and the wedding celebration is on Saturday July 13th.
Is there an after party?
Yes, there will be an after party on Saturday after the wedding celebration. It will start at 9pm and it will be at the venue.
What will the food menu be?
For both the traditional engagement and the wedding celebration the food menu will be buffet style of both Nigerian and American dishes.
Will the wedding be indoor or outdoor?
The traditional and wedding reception will be indoor. The ceremony is set to be outdoor but may change due to weather. If there is a change for the ceremony it will be communicated ahead of time.
What is the best area to stay?
Aurora would be the best place to stay. Centennial is another good option. We have listed a few hotel options and linked airbnb options under the travel section on our website.
Are children and plus ones allowed?
Children and plus ones are allowed. Only one person allowed per guest as plus one.
Will there be an open bar
Yes there will be an open bar for both traditional engagement and wedding celebration.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Seating for the ceremony will begin at 1:30pm The bride and groom will begin walking down the aisle at 2:00pm. You will not be able to enter the ceremony during this time so please arrive prior to 2:00pm to be seated.
Are pictures and videos allowed during the ceremony?
We ask that pictures and video's not be taken during the ceremony. We have hired and amazing photographer and videographer and we want to make sure they are able to fully capture the ceremony. We will share photos and videos with our guest when we receive them.
Will there be a cocktail hour?
Yes there will be a cocktail hour. The cocktail hour will be right after the ceremony.
