• Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months after your travel dates.

Mexico uses the same electrical outlets (Type A & B, 110V) as the U.S. and Canada, so no adapter or converter is needed for most travelers.
• If traveling from another country, check if you need an adapter.

Tipping is customary! Carry small bills (pesos or USD) for:

You are going to an all-inclusive hotel. Tipping is not mandatory nor is it expected. However, if you’re getting great service, they will appreciate it.

• Many resorts and hotels have free Wi-Fi, but signal strength can vary.
Is it safe to visit Mexico?
Yes! Our wedding events will take place in Riviera Maya, a well-established resort region that includes areas like Cancún, Playa del Carmen, and Tulum. This corridor is one of Mexico’s most visited international vacation destinations, with millions of tourists visiting safely each year.
Recently there were localized security events in Puerto Vallarta related to a specific law enforcement operation, which led to temporary travel disruptions. Airports and tourism services have since resumed and authorities have updated advisories as the situation stabilized. Those incidents were not in the Riviera Maya region and did not affect the resort areas where our events will be held.
Resort zones throughout Riviera Maya are highly focused on tourism, with private security and regular coordination with local authorities. Like anywhere in the world, we encourage standard travel awareness, but the day-to-day experience in the resort areas remains normal and welcoming.
Safety Tips for Safe Traveling
✔️ Stay within resort areas or trusted excursion locations arranged through the hotel or wedding transportation.
✔️ Use pre-approved transportation rather than random taxis.
✔️ Keep valuables secured and avoid carrying large amounts of cash.
✔️ Use the same awareness you would in any busy U.S. city or vacation destination.
