This is where the Shining was written by Steven King. They offer " The Stanley Night Tour" and daily tours.
This is also a very beautiful property to visit.
The hunting call of the bull elk fills the Estes Valley during the early days of fall. To celebrate the annual elk rut and learn about the "wapiti", the Native American name for elk, Estes Park hosts the annual Elk Fest in Bond Park. The Elk Fest starts Saturday September 28th thru Sunday September 29th. The free festival features bugling contests, elk exhibits, Native American music, dancing, live music, and much more! Visit the website below for more information.
We will be going brunch at Bird and Jim restaurant at 11AM followed by Elk fest in Bond Park at 1PM. All are welcome to join! Meet us at brunch or in Bond Park!
On Friday September 27th we are all going on a “user friendly” hike! This will be an easier hike so everyone can join :).
Meet us at The Rocky Mountain National Park headquarters located at the main entrance at 11AM.
If you are unable to make this hike, you can drive through the park and experience all the amazing wildlife and beautiful mountains! We would recommend not missing out on this amazing opportunity! A park pass is required to enter the park. Please visit the website below to see the different hikes and things to do in this beautiful National Park.
