Winding its way along the eastern shore of Aquidneck Island, the Cliff Walk is world famous as a public access walk that combines the natural beauty of Newport's shoreline with the architectural history of the city's Gilded Age. Wildflowers, birds, and geology all add to this 3.5 miles of delightful walk.
The guide starts the tour by covering Newport's Colonial downtown area and its rich history. The trolley then proceeds to breathtaking Ocean Drive, where you'll begin to see Gilded Age mansions. The comes Bellevue Ave Mansion Row in the Cliff Walk area, where the guide shows you the stunning "summer cottages" and talks about the millionaire barons who once owned them. The tour then winds down in the waterfront downtown shopping and dining district where the guide covers all the contemporary activities available in Newport.

In the center of downtown Newport, you can visit the International Tennis Hall of Fame, which includes a museum, group touring options, 13 grass tennis courts, an indoor tennis facility with three courts, three outdoor hard courts, one green clay court, a court tennis facility, and a theatre.
Located right next to the Tennis Hall of Fame, the Audrain Auto Museum has access to collections containing over 400 cars and motorcycles ranging from brass era Veteran cars to Supercars of today. Each year, the museum displays four unique, imaginatively curated thematic exhibitions to entertain all generations and stylistic preferences.
