Christian and Alana met at the University of Cincinnati in 2016. Both were members of The University of Cincinnati Bearcat Bands, TUCBIDG for short. Christian came up to Alana at what he called a “band event” at night and sat down next to her. As they were both nervous to talk to one another, Alana asked Christian if he was a freshman, as she has never seen him before. Christian laughed and said he has been in the band for a year with her. (Awkward). They talked for a little more that evening, but then continued on with the “band event.” From there on, whenever there was a “band event,” Alana and Christian started to grow a closer bond and talked more often. After a year of spending time with one another, Christian asked Alana if she wanted to visit his hometown with him. That evening, Christian asked Alana if she wanted to be his girlfriend, and the rest was history.

One of the couples favorite activities is visiting parks with their dog Stella. Christian and Alana love hiking through parks, fishing, and watching Stella play in the creek.

Christian proposed to Alana in May of 2023 by taking her on a Columbus trip and to one of their favorite parks. This Columbus trip, however, did not go as Christian to originally planned. Our hotel did not work out for us, so instead of staying the night, we headed back to Cincinnati. While driving back, Christian insisted on going to Devou Park and take pictures. As we arrived to the park, Christian found the perfect spot to ask, over looking the city. We expressed his love and asked Alana to marry him. As happy as could be, Alana said yes!

We cant wait to celebrate with you at our wedding ceremony and reception in July 2024!
