How We Met

November 16, 2015

A Tale of Love, Adventure, and Destiny

Alana and Mike's story really began years ago, before either of them even knew it. Alana had spent many summers in Park City staying at a family friend's home, just a street away from where Mike grew up in Jeremy Ranch. Although they never really met when they were kids, they would later discover that they played in the same treehouse that Mike and his friends had built. They did not formally meet until they were both working at Montage, many years later (November 16, 2015 to be exact) and although this initial encounter was brief and they didn't get to know each other very well, fate would have a way of crossing their paths once again.

After quite some time apart, Alana's father's friend offered her a position on his real estate team that Mike had serendipitously joined years prior. Mike had even gotten on a phone call with Alana about making the move, and little did they know that this reunion would mark the beginning of a beautiful journey together. As their relationship blossomed, Alana and Mike realized they shared not only a deep love for each other, but also a shared vision for their future. They took a leap of faith, branching off on their own business endeavor. Together they are building a future filled with love, success, and endless possibilities.

Their passion for everything Park City has to offer, the amazing adventures they have shared traveling to beautiful destinations, and their love of animals have played a significant role in their lives. They have built their home with their kitty cats Cubbie and Milo, and recently decided to bring a new member to the family- a playful and mischievous puppy named Butters. With their furry companions by their side, Alana and Mike's love continues to grow stronger, creating a bond that will last a lifetime.

Now, as they stand on the threshold of forever, Alana and Mike are ready to embark on the greatest adventure of all – marriage. Surrounded by their beloved family and friends, their love story will continue to unfold, filled with laughter, joy, and countless memories yet to be made.

Join us as we celebrate the love and union of Alana and Mike, two souls who were destined to find each other, amidst the beauty of Park City.

The Proposal

November 11, 2023

A Moment of Love and Serenity

Alana and Mike had planned a trip this last November to the Hawaiian islands to celebrate their second anniversary and were having an absolutely wonderful time. They had just left Oahu for Kauai, and little did Alana know that this day would forever be etched in their hearts as the day Mike would propose.

Mike had been meticulously planning this momentous occasion for several months and had stashed a custom-made ring along with him on their trip, for this particular day. He had told Alana they had dinner reservations and needed to get their early to take a little hike to enjoy the beautiful sunset at Shipwreck Beach.

As they strolled up the path to the breathtaking viewpoint, Mike's heart raced with anticipation. He had arranged for a photographer to meet them up there and was trying so hard to not give any indication of the wonderful thing he was about to do. With trembling hands and a heart full of love, Mike dropped to one knee, his eyes locked with Alana's, and asked her to be his forever. In that moment, time stood still. Alana unfortunately can't remember exactly what he said, but knows it was perfect!

Overwhelmed with joy and tears streaming down her face, she said yes. The world seemed to burst with happiness as they embraced, their souls intertwining in a moment of pure bliss. The photographer captured every precious second of this incredible moment, ensuring that this memory would be forever preserved.

The dinner reservations were also real, so they did have a wonderful celebratory dinner after at the Tidepools restaurant at the Grand Hyatt. nestled in a little hut on the water, surrounded by graceful Koi fish.

Not bad Mikie!
