We both went to the same elementary school growing up, but our paths never really crossed until Confirmation in 8th grade at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. In 9th grade, we crossed paths again at our parish's youth retreat, Antioch. This is where it all blossomed. We went to different high schools growing up (Alanis- Veterans, A.J.- Warner Robins), but that didn't stop us from getting to know each other. We Facetimed every day, just asking each other questions to get to know each other in a fun way with little pressure as friends, and soon learned that one of us was a big nerd and the other was a big dork (you can guess who is who😂). We started dating about a year later, and the rest is history! Having started our journey in the same place Jesus resides has given us so many graces throughout our love story & we are so excited for it to come full circle back to the place it all began! Each day is a new day to fall more in love, and what a gift it is to marry my best friend.
