Yes! We are asking all guests to please keep in mind modesty and dress respectfully as our ceremony will be taking place in a sacred place.

Glad you asked! Catholics go through a certain process to receive the Holy Eucharist, so during Holy Communion, you can either walk up to receive a blessing by crossing your arms over your chest, or you can remain in your pew! This is a full religious ceremony, lasting about an hour and a half including readings, prayers, vows, and Eucharistic Communion. There will be standing, sitting, and kneeling at various points throughout the service. Just follow the lead of those around you—no pressure to get it perfect! You are there because we love you and want you there, and we want you to feel comfortable and at home because that is precisely how Jesus wants you to feel in His house. :) Don’t be afraid to reach out to either of us if you have any questions about this :)

We want to spend plenty of time with family and friends traveling a great distance for this special day, so we suggest planning to come the week prior if you are staying longer, so we can catch up, because we plan to leave the Monday following the wedding! We understand that work schedules and family life aren't always super flexible, so we want to give our guests advanced notice of our plans so you can plan to do what works best for you! So excited to share our big day with you guys!
