Where will the wedding be held?
Our wedding and reception will be held at Roof Garden in Antigua, Guatemala (6 Avenida Norte Local 1C). You can type "Roof Garden" into Google Maps or Waze to get there. It is one block west of the central park. It is also important to note that our venue will be outside.
What will the weather be like?
Our wedding will be held outside, so take this into account when planning. In May, it will be the beginning of Guatemala's rainy season. This means that it wouldn't be abnormal for it to rain at some point every day. The temperatures can range from the 60's to 80's. The sun also sets very early there.
What food will be served?
There will be a coffee bar open for you when you arrive, as well as during the reception. For lunch, we will be having barbeque from a restaurant called Pappy's. We will also be serving cake.
What time should we arrive?
Please arrive 15 minutes early so that we can ensure that everyone can be seated by the time the ceremony begins.
When should we get to Guatemala?
Since our wedding is Saturday morning, you should plan to be in the country by Friday. If you can, we would recommend arriving Thursday to compensate for any potential delays. Flights are also cheaper on Wednesday and Thursday than the weekend!
Should we bring a gift with us?
Please do not bring gifts to Guatemala, as it would be difficult for us to get back to the States! If you wish to bring something, there will be a table for cards. If you were hoping to send a gift, you can purchase from our registry and have it sent to us.
