The travel destination code to Memphis is "MEM" for the airport, Amtrak and bus stations. Please note that our union is on a holiday weekend, which may impact pricing.

We understand that many of our guests will be traveling from out of town to join us for our special day. We've suggested a variety of hotels in Downtown Memphis under the "Accommodations" tab. Feel free to reach out if you need assistance with finding or booking accommodations that suit your needs including Airbnb, Vrbo, etc.

Yes. It's a family affair! Children of all ages are more than welcome. There will be yard games and pool fun for all ages. If you opt to enjoy the pool (weather permitting) be sure to bring safety items for young children and inexperienced swimmers. There will be NO lifeguards.

The entire event will be at the Boyd Family home in Millington, Tennessee, which is ~25-minute drive from downtown Memphis. The exact address will be given to those who RSVP "Yes."

If you are driving, there is secured parking with shuttle to and from the venue. Rideshare apps such as Uber or Lyft are also available from Memphis to Millington. More information about transportation arrangements will be shared closer to the event date, so please stay tuned for updates on our website.

The weather in Memphis for the event weekend is expected to be warm to hot. Daily high temperatures average 77°F to 84°F, rarely falling below 67°F or exceeding 91°F.

The dress code is Dressy Casual. Dress for warm weather, bring comfortable shoes and a change of clothes if you would like to enjoy the pool and yard games. Event activities will take place outdoors.

A variety of foods will be served buffet-style including some vegetarian and vegan options. Please let us know of any severe food allergies or dietary restrictions for you or your family in the RSVP questionnaire.

There will be celebratory champagne and alcoholic beverages available to adults over 21 years of age.

We are blessed to have each of you in our lives. Your love and well-wishes are the most important gifts of all. If you would like to contribute in another way, we've set up a small registry that you can access using the "Registry" tab on this website.

We are also having a small destination wedding/family vacation in June 2025! We realize that everyone may not be able to travel out of the country for various reasons, hence our family union celebration.
