On June 1st, David took Aleah out for a beautiful dinner in downtown Portsmouth, after meeting online beforehand. The chemistry was undeniable, both say that they knew they would get married, just after one date! Just 5 days later, David knew he wanted to make it official, and so they started dating.

After months of getting to know each other, they began to explore places in which they both wanted to go. This photo is from Savoy, MA in the beautiful Taconic range.

The first halloween together! In 2021 and every year since, they have dressed up as loved video game characters.

Many months flew by, and the couple was becoming closer and closer by the day. Many, many walks at Weir Hill and The Ward Reservation (Aleah's all time favorite spot) took place.

For Aleah's birthday, David took her to the butterfly gardens, which she adored tremendously.

They also spend much of their time in Amesbury and Newburyport, walking and enjoying some great food. (Fun fact: ever since their first date, David will ALWAYS pick Aleah a small bouquet of flowers wherever they are, whether it be a garden or a gas station).

The first of MANY hikes together! With their friends, they hiked up a small mountain in Thornton NH. The views weren't like any other.

Still in the woods, hunting for mushrooms. David has a keen eye for varying types of trees, mushrooms, and general flora. Aleah just likes to tag along and collect frogs.

The second halloween, this time featuring Daisy and Luigi from the Mario Bros. Aleah hand-makes both costumes every year, so it's a fun challenge!

First NYE spent together, goodbye 2022!

Took a day trip to the beautiful Halibut Point State Park in Rockport. It was definitely freezing. Luckily, Aleah had a jacket that was 10x too big.

Don't fret, they also do love the beach. (That's where they first kissed!)

Yet another sunny day nature walk, taking in the summer breeze.

A hike in the wonderful Green Mountain Range! This is where they decided that they want to reside in VT.

Christmas spent with each others families, receiving so much love and support!

David was Aleah's Sponsor for her confirmation into the Catholic Church! She was baptized, confirmed and received first Holy Communion all at the Easter Vigil, with David right beside her. After completing 6 months of RCIA classes, countless meetings and lots of preparation, it all paid off.

Around a month after, David had planned a very special hike, to top every other hike. After 4 miles and 3,000 ft of elevation, David kneeled down in the snow and ice to ask Aleah to marry him. After lots of happy tears and screaming, they did indeed make it down the mountain safely. They were officially engaged!!

As he has for every birthday in the past three years, David attended Aleah's family birthday dinner. This time, to celebrate turning 22!

Another hike, wow. No surprise there. Waterville valley was indeed very tranquil.

They climbed Mount Horrid! (It was actually very lovely). Many outdoor adventures to come soon, after they get married!
