What is the easiest way to get around Medellin?
Medellin has an easy to navigate Metro and cablecar system that you can take to some major attractions such as Parque Arvi but in most other instances it is easiest, safest, and fastest to use UBER (Lyft doesn't exist in Medellin). Uber is extremely affordable, with the average ride costing about $2-$3 for a short trip. The one thing to note is that someone MUST sit in the front seat during all rides, and be very gentle closing the doors; its a cultural thing and they take that extremely seriously there where what we consider closing a car door is "slamming" the door to them. (I have had many dirty looks from closing the door too hard.)
Are children allowed at the wedding?
While we love all the little ones and want them to be part of this day, we have ultimately decided that our wedding ceremony/reception will be child free. We can help provide links to private childcare/nanny services available for those of you who want to travel with your children to Medellin and will setup a whatsapp group for those parents who want to combine forces and babysitter services.... but we pushed the date of the wedding a bit so that the fresh babies were a bit older and can be left with the grandparents for a few days so the parents can get away and party, because at the end of the day thats what this is!
