Will I need a passport if I am travelling from outside Ireland?
Yes. Apply for your passport as soon as possible to make sure it's ready in time for the wedding.
Will I need a visa if I am travelling from outside Ireland?
No, you will not need a visa. Starting in 2024, the EU is requiring travelers to be authorized with the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS). However, Ireland does not require ETIAS for its international visitors. However, if you plan on travelling to other parts of the EU during your trip you may need ETIAS!
Are children invited to the wedding?
Unfortunately, we are only able to accommodate our nieces and nephews at the wedding. If you intend to travel to Ireland with your children and require babysitting services for the day of the wedding, please see littlesitters.ie or Auntie Katie Wedding Babysitters.

What will the weather be like in Ireland in April?
The average temperature in Limerick in April is 13° C (56°F). However, Ireland often has 4 seasons in one day, so prepare for anything! 😅
Will there be an open bar?
There will be a cash bar available at the wedding reception as it is not customary to have an open bar at Irish weddings. We will have complimentary drinks on arrival and complementary wine served throughout the meal.
When will the reception end?
Irish weddings continue later into the evening than American weddings! As a rough guideline, dinner will finish around 8:30pm, the band will play from 9pm to 12am, the DJ will take over until 2am. and there will be an after-hours bar available until 3am . So, bring your dancing shoes! 💃
