Travel

We’re so excited to welcome friends and family to our favorite country of Italy! International travel can be daunting, so we will be updating this page with travel and hotel information as well as links to travel resources to assist with your travels.

Airports & Trains

Easiest airports with direct flights from the US are Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) and Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP). Regional flights also fly into Florence Airport (FLR).

Rome Fiumicino Airport offers direct trains from the airport to Florence, or you can take a high speed train from Roma Termini Station (Rome’s main station) to Florence Santa Maria Novella Station (Florence’s main station).

High speed trains are also available from Milan Centrale Station to Florence Santa Maria Novella Station.

Italiarail and Italotreno offer many high speed trains daily and trains can be booked in advance of arrival or in person.
