We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us! We are requesting your best fall formal attire for the evening. No jeans, t-shirts or sneakers, please. It is October in Denver so we encourage warm jackets as the mountains can be cold. The ceremony will be outside at this beautiful venue with space heaters and the reception will be inside a tent. Some blankets will be available to keep you toasty as needed!

Invitations will be specific and will include the names of all those invited, including children. Please note that we will only be inviting children in the wedding or under the age of 1 to join us for this event and I'm afraid we're unable to provide or coordinate childcare. We hope that this will not stop you from joining us and that you'll be able to use this evening as a "date night" for yourself and your partner!

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on the invitation. If you receive a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP.

If we do not get an RSVP back by the date which we have provided, it will be marked as a "No". We will miss you but we have to provide total guest counts to the venue in a timely manner and cannot accept late RSVPs due to this. We hope that you understand.

Due to venue rules, there can be no cars left at the venue past 11pm. We encourage you to utilize the shuttle that will be running from the Ameristar Black Hawk.

We encourage guests to utilize the shuttle that will be running from Ameristar Black Hawk to the venue. This is for the safety of all guests and so that you can let loose and enjoy yourself. You do not have to stay at the Ameristar to use the shuttle, but it will only run between the Ameristar and the wedding venue. There will be 2 buses leaving the hotel to arrive at the venue in time for the wedding - one at 3pm and the other 3:15pm. Transportation back to the hotel will begin at 9pm with the last bus leaving at 11pm. If you chose to drive yourself - please note that all cars need to be out of the venue parking lot by 11pm.

The morning after the wedding, Kelly (Alex's mom) will be throwing a brunch so that we are able to spend as much time with our guests as possible. You will be asked to indicate if you plan on attending this when you RSVP.

We will have an open bar with beer and wine available so no cash will be required, unless you would like to tip the bartenders. That said, there will be a dollar dance facilitated by the MOH and BM. This is a tradition where guests can offer the newlyweds money to dance with them, or they can shower the couple with money! The custom is to help establish the couple in their new life together and show how much they are loved and appreciated.
