Our Wedding

We met at Wagner College, where we were both coaching lacrosse—Alex with the women’s team and David with the men’s. It didn’t take long for us to realize we had more in common than just lacrosse. Just as our relationship was starting to bloom, the world changed. When COVID-19 hit, everything was put on pause, and so were we. Alex headed back to Long Island, and David went home to New Jersey. Though the distance was tough, especially after we had just started something real, it made us realize how much we missed each other. We knew we had something worth holding on to, so we made it work, even from miles apart. Over the years, we navigated long distance as David coached at Vassar and Williams College, while Alex stayed on Long Island, coaching at her old high school and teaching fourth grade at William Floyd. This fall, David took a job at St. John’s University to be closer to Alex and start building our life together. This summer, we got engaged during an unforgettable trip to Spain, and now we’re excited to celebrate our big day with all of you. Family is incredibly important to us, and we can’t wait to bring everyone together to mark this next chapter. Thanks for being part of our journey—we’re so excited to share this moment with everyone we love!

Directions to Venue: From Long Island Expressway Heading East - LIE (495) to Exit 59 Ocean Avenue South, frin service road, make a right turn on Ocean Avenue. At fork continue onto (bear left) on Lakeland Ave. Pass under Sunrise Highway and continue South to Montauk Highway / Main Street. Make a left turn on to Main Street, the road immediately forks, bear right onto Middle Road. Go to first light and make a right onto Foster Ave. Take foster to end. At water make a left onto Brown's River Road and follow directly to Land's End. Bait and Tackle 

Grab a drink with the bride and groom! We'll be hanging out at Bait and Tackle at 7:00PM enjoying some laid back dive bar vibes before the big day! Address: 220 N Main St, Sayville, NY 11782 *cash bar

The Night Before 

There will be coach bus transportation from the Hilton Garden Inn Islip/MacArthur Airport 3485 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Ronkonkoma, NY 11779, USA. The bus will start loading at 4:20pm and depart the hotel to head to the venue at 4:35pm. The coach bus will be back to pick up guests at 10:45pm and will head back to the hotel at 11:15pm. The final bus will transport our guests who plan to stay for the after party! The after party ends at 12:00am and the bus will depart at 12:20am.
