Kids are welcomed at both the wedding ceremony and reception. However, we do ask that, should you decide to bring your kids, they remain supervised and well-behaved. Our reception venue, Blue Star Event Center, maintains a strict policy that all children remain supervised while on the property.
Can I bring a plus one?
Please only bring a plus one or if your invitation is explicitly addressed to "and Guest".
What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
We ask that all guests arrive and be seated by 5:45 PM. Arrival after this will disrupt the ceremony. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6 PM.
Do I need to RSVP?
Yes, please RSVP for all wedding guests marked on your invitation.
Will transportation be provided?
We will only provide transportation between the reception and hotel. Please see the "travel" tab for more information.
Transportation will not be provided to and from the ceremony. Please note that it takes approximately 20 minutes to get from the ceremony to the reception.
Will there be an open bar?
It wouldn't be a party without it! Beer, wine, and bride and groom specialty cocktails will be provided. If you do drink, please tip the bartenders and have a designated driver or use the provided shuttle to the Holiday Inn. Be responsible and remember that buzzed driving is drunk driving.
What is the parking situation?
There is plenty of parking available at both the church and Blue Star. Please respect the property and only park in the designated parking areas only. If you have a little too much to drink, you are more than welcome to leave your car parked overnight at the venue and take the shuttle back to the hotel. Please note that all cars should be removed from the property by 9am on Sunday morning.
Will it be indoors or outdoors?
Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors. The reception venue doubles as a horse ranch with an open stable that will be accessible to all guests. You are welcomed to explore the property and even pet the horses! However, it is venue policy that all children remain supervised, especially when viewing the horses.
