We've added the primary hotel for the event under the "Accommodations" tab, and we recommend that all of Emma's family stay at this location. This option was personally vetted by Emma, Alex, and Alex's family, and we believe it offers excellent quality at great prices.

The bridal party will have separate, pre-arranged accommodations, and each member will be informed individually.

Of course, there's no pressure to stay at the suggested hotel if you'd prefer to explore other options!

We will be adding more hotels to our website soon. Normally hotels will not book for more than a year in advance, so make sure to come back to the website and check before making a reservation. Also, feel free to contact Emma or Alex with questions.

Please keep in mind that event transportation will operate from the recommended locations.

Brief breakdown of expenses: (prices are not 100% accurate just rough estimates to help gauge price points)

- Plane ticket ($800-$1200)

- Hotel for your stay ($50-60/night per person breakfast included)

- Food (you will have two dinners provided)

- Any excursions / travels you wish to do

- Rental car ($350 for a full week but really only needed for a few days)

You could possibly get away with not having a rental car; however, this is not recommended. WE WILL HAVE transportation for guests only on the Monday of the wedding.

- It is also possible to purchase travel insurance, but this is entirely up to the individual.

We understand traveling to Italy is a commitment by itself and one that many probably do not want to do alone. Unfortunately we could not invite everyone, so if you did not get a plus one we apologize. However, if you are traveling with someone who did not get an invitation to the wedding we would still love for them to come to Modena with everyone on Sunday and the pre-wedding party the night before at Alex's house!
