How to get to Aspen:

Part of Aspen’s charm is that it is off the beaten path. Below are some options for getting here: *Aspen Airport Aspen has small airport with a short runway. There are only a few direct flights in and out of Aspen from major cities. Often a layover in Denver will be part of the journey, at which point you’ll transfer to a smaller plane. The higher cost of flying into Aspen is offset by the ease and convenience. Once in Aspen, you’re unlikely to need a rental car. Your hotel may have a shuttle to pick you up at the airport. **Denver Airport A major hub with direct flights from anywhere in the country. Once in Denver, the trip to Aspen is a three- to four-hour scenic drive, depending on route and time of year. You may rent a car at the Denver airport or arrange for shuttle transportation to Aspen.
