There are multiple ways to get to Mammoth Lakes, CA. I want to break down some of the simpler options to help you plan your travel arrangements based on your needs/wants when you're out west. Another great place to start, is by visiting the Mammoth Lakes website & checking out the "Getting to Mammoth Lakes" section. All of the options I listed are on the East Side of the Sierras. Depending on where you want to travel to in CA (such as the coast) you may want to explore other options for flights like Sacramento or San Francisco.

RENO, NV TO MAMMOTH LAKES, CA


Flights: Fly into Reno-Tahoe International Airport


Getting to Mammoth:

Option 1 - Rent a car from Reno Airport and drive to Mammoth (Approximately 3 hours). Note: Mammoth has an Enterprise if you choose to do a 1 day rental for your arrival and a 1 day rental for your departure if you do not want a vehicle for the entirety of your stay.

Option 2 - Arrange group transport with friends/family through MAWS Transportation which provide private car, shuttle, and limousine services.


LAS VEGAS, NV TO MAMMOTH LAKES, CA


Flights: Fly into Harry Reid International Airport


Getting to Mammoth:

Option 1 - Rent a car from Las Vegas Airport and drive to Mammoth (Approx. 5 hours). Note: Mammoth has an Enterprise if you choose to do a 1 day rental for your arrival and a 1 day rental for your departure if you do not want a vehicle the entirety of your stay.

Option 2 - Arrange for group transportation with friends/family by viewing available options for Ground Transportation through the Airport. There are different shuttle, bus, and limousine services should you choose to travel with a group.

FLYING INTO THE VALLEY OR MAMMOTH


Flights: Mammoth Lakes is accessible by plane from hundreds of cities across the country. This season, air service to Mammoth Lakes is expanding to offer more reliability and better connections through the Eastern Sierra Regional Airport, 40 minutes south of Mammoth Lakes, on United Airlines.
