Taylor & Alexa met in 2008 after being introduced by a mutual friend. They began dating a few months later, in January 2009, both just sixteen years old! In 2010 they graduated from their rival high schools (Boonsboro and Smithsburg) and continued to college together at West Virginia University. After all the late nights, WVU football games, meeting some new lifelong friends and getting a German shepherd puppy, the two graduated in 2014 with the highest honors. Taylor went on to start his career as a mechanical engineer and Alexa pursued her Masters degree at the University of Maryland. Fast forward to present day, the two have traveled around the world together, bought a house and now have TWO German shepherd dogs. Alexa, a social worker for the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs and Taylor, a mechanical engineer for a defense contractor got engaged in Krabi, Thailand in March 2017. The pair live in their row home in Baltimore, MD with their two pups - Leo and Logan. They decided on a destination wedding because of their shared love for the beach and warm weather.
