In May 2018, Alexa and Christian met in the most romantic way...on Tinder, an online dating app. Christian had just moved to Northumberland to own and operate a dental lab and be closer to his dad's side of the family. Alexa had just moved home to Lewisburg after graduating from college. Alexa messaged Christian to get the conversation going, and after messaging for a few weeks he asked her on a date. They went on a date to a nice bar in Lewisburg called The Chameleon and spent a whole 6 hours there talking non-stop, realizing that they had so much in common. In September Christian asked Alexa to be his girlfriend officially and not long after they told each other that they were both in love. Over the next few years Christian worked incredibly hard to grow Sunbury Dental Lab and Alexa went from working as an Emergency Room Technician to a Neurology Physician Assistant. Despite their busy schedules, they always found time for each other. Over the years they took many trips visiting Buffalo, Keuka, Bethlehem, Richmond, Long Beach Island, Atlantic City, Pittsburgh, Orlando, and many other places. In 2021 Christian bought a house in Northumberland and Alexa moved in with him along with her cat, Peppy. They enjoy taking weekend trips, cooking for each other, binge-watching TV shows, playing video games together, exploring craft breweries, and cuddling Peppy. Then in July 2023 Christian proposed to Alexa at the location of their second date back in 2018: the Sunbury Marina. Alexa enthusiastically said YES! Now we are counting down the days to September 20, 2025!

The Cottages at Frosty Valley

There are cottages on the reception venue property that guests can rent out. They look like cottages on the outside and hotel rooms on the inside. You can still book a cottage room but you will need to book this separately from the wedding block and will not get the wedding block rate.

COMFORT SUITES - BLOOMSBURG

We also have a wedding block rate at a nearby hotel for Friday 9/19 and Saturday 9/20. This hotel is newly-renovated and only 10 minutes away from the reception venue. We will have a shuttle that goes to and from this hotel before and after the wedding! Please note that the venue is in a rural area. There are very limited ride share options like Uber and Lyft. We would not recommend relying on their availability.

Christian and Alexa's hometown brewery. This may be our #1 favorite spot to grab a beer. They always have a great selection of different beers (including IPAs) and the staff are incredible. They have a beautiful covered back patio and will often have live music and a food truck on weekends.

An old-timey movie theatre in Lewisburg. They don't always play great movies, but they do allow BYOB on Fridays.

These are the absolute best bagels, and a favorite breakfast spot for Alexa and Christian!

All Star Bagels

If you find yourself in Lewisburg, Jackass brewing is a great spot. Located right off of the Buffalo Valley Rail Trail, you can make it a stop on a nice long walk.
