The ceremony will be held at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist (120 Broad St, Charleston SC). The reception will be held at the Governor Thomas Bennett House (69 Barre St, Charleston SC). Both locations are about 1 mile apart.

Charleston International Airport (CHS) is the closest airport. It is a 10-15 minute drive to Downtown Charleston from CHS. The next closest airport is Savannah International Airport, which is about a 2 hour drive to Downtown Charleston.

Downtown Charleston is extremely walkable and Ubers are very affordable compared to other cities. If you are staying Downtown and are comfortable walking and using Uber or Lyft, you probably do not need to rent a car. If you are wishing to explore areas outside of downtown, we would recommend renting a car.

Formal wear is encouraged. Please no jeans or flip-flops. The ceremony will be inside the Cathedral so please ensure Catholic Church appropriate attire is worn. Just a heads up, the bridesmaids will be in black! Any questions on attire can be directed to Alexa Corker (845-499-0699)

There will be about 2 hours between the end of the ceremony and the beginning of the cocktail hour. We suggest exploring downtown Charleston as both locations are downtown. There are some great spots to grab drinks and a light bite like the Blind Tiger Pub and Sorelle. We enjoy walking around The Battery and French Quarter.
