Brittney and Alexa first met in a zoom meeting room during Covid student teaching. Little did they know they would then end up working at the same school and bonding over dogs, drinks, and starting a teaching career during these tumultuous last few years.

Colin and Ross have been best friends since early childhood. They have been through a lot with each other ranging from being cross-country teammates, co-workers, and roommates. They have spent so much time together over the years and will remain best friends for life!

Kenna and Alexa grew up choreographing dances, watching comedies, and clogging mom and dad’s drain with all their curly hair. Alexa could not survive all her weird ailments without no nonsense, nurse Kenna coming to save the day.

Jared and Colin have known each other for most of their lives, but really began to bond starting in high school on the cross country team. From there, they became roommates in college and after college as well. They have a lot in common and enjoy going on hikes/exploring, playing board games, and bonding. They will remain friends for life!

Mikaela and Alexa go all the way back to when they were campers together at Wesley Woods. Even with all the changes in their lives, they have continued to drink coffee, rant loudly, and tell the young camp staff all the “back in my day” stories.

Ryan and Colin and have been best friends since early childhood. They went to high school and college together. Many memories were made along the way. Colin even convinced Ryan to be the manager on the cross country team in high school. They will remain friends for life!

Alissa is Colin’s sister and was a welcoming presence into the Martin family for Alexa. Alexa and Alissa love playing games, sarcastic humor, and taking pictures of Spencer.

David is Colin's Brother-In-Law. They have bonded ever since David began dating Alissa and even joke about being "Step Brothers". They love to play disc golf and board/card games together.

Sarah is a good RA friend of Alexa who now lives out of state. Alexa couldn’t imagine her day without her.

Brandon is Colin's cousin. They like to disc golf together in their free time and enjoy spending the holidays with the whole family together.

Raegan is Alexa’s childhood best friend who now lives out of state. Alexa couldn’t imagine her day without her.

David is currently engaged to Colin's cousin, Halie Landolt. They know each other from high school and enjoy spending time together at family gatherings and whenever they both have free time.

Colin and Casey met each other in the summer of 2016 when they were co-workers at Menards. They have bonded ever since. They enjoy playing games together and are planning on going to a Northern Iowa football game together in 2024.

Spencer is Alexa and Colin’s nephew and Godson. From watching him start off in the NICU, to now being a big and happy baby boy, we know he will be even bigger and cuter by our wedding day.
