Alexa and Armando met while working together at The Walt Disney Company in LA. Friends first, they shared a love of Marvel movies, pop culture, and travel. After Alexa moved to another department in the company, Armando asked her out on his birthday and they started dating soon after.

4 years later and after surviving a global pandemic living together, they got engaged on November 21, 2021.

During the engagement period, Alexa and Armando were also discussing seriously their dreams to live abroad. Armando was accepted into a graduate program in Spain and the dream started to become a reality.

The following months were both a time of wedding planning and visa/moving abroad planning. Alexa was also finishing her Masters at Pepperdine University. To say it was an insanely busy time in their lives is an understatement.

They were legally married in a small ceremony with family on February 6, 2023 in Los Angeles, and they held a private elopement ceremony in Costa Rica on February 23, 2023.

Alexa and Armando officially moved to Spain on October 31, 2023, a place they are blessed to call home now. Armando's love of Spanish football (not "soccer"), Alexa's love of sunshine, and their shared love of travel and adventure made Spain a perfect fit.

Now settled in Valencia, they are excited to include all their family and friends in a vow renewal to celebrate their marriage and new life in Spain!
